Capt. Dave had the Groton Gun Club out today for their annual trip. They took advantage of a small weather window and it did not disappoint. They had non stop action with 70lb class yellowfins with a couple of XXL models in the mix. Decided to call it a day at noon and left them biting. Really nice to get out after many weather cancellations this fall.
The fluke bite was off so we moved out to a wreck and put a few sea bass in the cooler. The blackfish we caught were released after the picture. These young men were naturals! Great time!! 3 buddies and their dads!
Beach Haven Fishing On the Irish Jig.
Captain Dave had a nice start to the season fishing the @beachhaventunaopen this Father’s Day weekend. The tournament committee worked hard for twelve months putting this event together. They found a couple of high quality yellowfin tuna, one being a Benita J record of 90.3lbs, taking third place overall heaviest yellowfin. Hopefully a sign of good things to come.

Beautiful day today! Fishing was very good, but the keepers were tough to find for us today! Many fish 13”-14.5” and some very nice sea bass! So we had some good action and some beautiful conditions!
It was a great day for Capt Steve and Crew aboard The Realfantasea fishing out of Barnegat Light..
